Manaslu Cottage

Kodaikanal
ABOUT

ABOUT MANASLU

Mananslu is a cosy brick cottage, about 5 km from Kodai lake in Attavampatti. It’s a perfect place for family and friends to get-together, spending time just enjoying the beautiful environment and stunning sunsets. Long walks, away from the blaring horns of the town, home-cooked food and a lovely bonfire make a stay at Manaslu memorable. The two bedroom cottage can comfortably host 6 adults or two families with small children. There is a large lawn which makes Manaslu a perfect place for those who love spending time outdoors. We have a wonderful cook who would make warm meals on request. There is a small kitchenette with basic cooking utensils, gas and stove, fridge as well as kettle and tea/coffee for your self-service. The cottage has two bathrooms with geysers and a powder room. Transport, as well as walking guides, can be arranged on request, at additional charges. If you have a pet, please feel free to check with us as we are open to pets, but there is a resident dog belonging to the caretaker close-by who may visit Manaslu occasionally. Do get in touch if you would like to spend a few days away from the pressures of the city and just come and feel the environment.

Guest Reviews

So this was a random plan of ours, all the way from Chennai and Banglore to head to kodai for the long weekend. Head to this place with 0 expectations and trust me, you'll not be disappointed. A really peaceful place situated a couple of kms out of the town. (away from the town jazz). A really cozy place which perfectly fits a group of 7 with a well kept lawn and not to forget, the beautiful bonfire set up. We would prefer heading back to Manaslu any day, anytime (if available) for the host, impeccable hospitality and Manaslu itself. There's a cook who cooks yummy food. A good host, a cozy place with a peaceful surrounding, and home cooked food truly is a sorted holiday. would recommend people viewing Manaslu for a stay, to interact with the host, Mr. Sonny, he truly is a super host. :)
